Penny spent her early years feeling like an outsider who wasn't comfortable in her own skin. She ran away from home at 14 and lived a hand to mouth existence on the streets and in hostels in London from the age of 16. She was a tearaway, a self-destructive teenager heading nowhere.
Life could have taken many paths for Penny, but several life changing events, against all the odds, sent her the 'right' way. She set out to prove herself and to show the world she was worthy of both love and success. If she could do it, anyone could.
