Anthea began her broadcasting career in BBC local radio presenting road traffic reports. She became the 19th presenter of the award winning BBC 1 flagship children’s programme, Blue Peter, in 1992. In 1994, Anthea joined GMTV alongside Eamonn Holmes where she anchored the 7.00am - 9.00am time slot, 5 days a week. After presenting the National Lottery Live programme and appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’, Anthea was back on our screens with her own series, The Perfect Housewife’
