Ray is a writer, speaker and broadcaster about the future. He is the author of four novels, ten non-fiction works, children’s fiction and drama for radio and television. His non-fiction writing includes The On-Line Handbook, which was published in 1984. It was the world's first book to describe the commercial potential of the internet. He is a regular broadcaster on UK and European television and radio networks and, in his role as a futurologist, is in demand as a corporate speaker, providing lectures on future trends for businesses, government departments and non-government organisations.
