Phil Hammond is a doctor, writer, broadcaster and comedian. Phil qualified as a GP in 1991 and, after 10 years, switched to sexual health medicine. In the last year, he has toured the UK with “89 Minutes to Save the NHS”, and co-written a BBC 1 sitcom, “Doctors and Nurses” about the rivalry between two orthopaedic surgeons on the Isle of Wight. Phil presented five series of "Trust Me, I’m a Doctor" on BBC2 and his book of the same name is a best seller. He is a regular on "The News Quiz" (Radio 4) and "Have I Got News For You".
