Carol started her journalistic career in Australia on the Sydney Morning Herald, and went on to Channel 7 TV as a reporter and interviewer. She continued upon her return to the UK and her most recent Channel 4 documentary was 30 Minutes: “What Tony could learn from the Iron Lady.” Carol writes regularly for the Telegraph, Mail, and Radio Times and has published three best sellers. ”Diary of an Election” followed her mother on the campaign trail, ”Below the Parapet,” a personal memoir of her late father, Sir Dennis Thatcher, and ”Lloyd on Lloyd,” a glimpse into the private lives of Chris Evert and John Lloyd, the international tennis stars.
Carol is renowned for her insightful perspectives, on everything from life at Number 10 and the ups and downs of life in the public eye, to her role as the nation’s favourite bug eater, in 2005’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, when she was also crowned Queen of the Jungle.
